Jet2 Job of the Week: Emerging Talent & Careers Coordinator

Organisation: Jet2.com / Jet2holidays
Team: HR, Legal & Company Secretarial
Contract: Fixed Term
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Excellent

This week’s pick is one of those roles that sits quietly at the centre of something much bigger — shaping how future talent enters, grows, and thrives inside a business.

At Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, growth isn’t just about expanding routes or holiday packages — it’s also about building the next generation of capability behind the scenes.

That’s exactly what this Emerging Talent & Careers Coordinator role is designed to do.

It’s a hands-on, highly organised coordination role supporting technical apprentices through their full development journey — from induction through to progression and qualification. The focus is on creating consistency, structure, and a genuinely positive learning experience that helps people step confidently into long-term careers within the business.

What the Role Involves

Working within the HR, Legal & Company Secretarial team, you’ll be central to delivering early careers and apprenticeship programmes across the organisation.

You’ll collaborate with HR, L&D, managers, learners, and external training providers to ensure everything runs smoothly — and that every apprentice feels supported and set up for success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging inductions and structured apprentice learning sessions
  • Coordinating programme activity including enrolments, progress tracking, and reviews
  • Supporting apprentices through development sessions and live business projects
  • Working closely with training providers to maintain high-quality delivery
  • Supporting performance reviews between learners and managers
  • Analysing programme data and producing clear reporting
  • Collaborating across HR, L&D and operational teams to ensure a seamless learner experience
  • Contributing to the development of new early careers programmes and careers content

What They’re Looking For

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity and takes pride in creating a smooth, well-run experience for others.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience in training coordination, apprenticeships or early careers (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident communication and presentation ability
  • A structured, detail-focused working style
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A proactive, people-focused approach to learning and development
  • Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels
  • Flexibility in a fast-changing environment
  • A constructive approach to feedback and continuous improvement

Why It Matters

Early careers programmes shape far more than technical skills — they shape confidence, culture, and long-term performance.

This role sits at the heart of that experience, ensuring apprentices don’t just join the business, but are properly supported to grow within it.

Benefits

  • Colleague discounts on flights and holidays
  • Annual pay reviews
  • Access to mental health first aid support
  • A collaborative, people-first environment

Final Word

If you’re someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to fast-moving environments — and you take pride in supporting others to succeed — this is a strong opportunity to make a real impact early in the talent pipeline.
